Birth Story
On Thursday I returned home from getting the kids from the bus. I heard a little puppy sound and ran to see Scarlett had delivered a puppy. I wasn't expecting her to deliver for another few days. We got her cozy in her pen and spent the afternoon and evening delivering 7 healthy puppies. The kids had so many questions and were so excited to watch and help since usually the puppies are born during the night when they are sleeping or on a day they are at their dads. I went to bed around 1:30am after it seemed like she was done having her babies. In the morning I was getting the kids ready for school and lo and behold, out comes another puppy. 10 hours after the last one was born! I was shocked. The 8 puppies are thriving and doing amazing:)
