Happy Easter! 
We hope the Easter bunny was good to everyone. 

Thoughts of the dogs
Bogart: "Take my picture! I'll pose and you can get all the good angles of my long neck."
Lucy: "Hurry up, I'm being squished!"
Audrey: "I'm just going to close my eyes."

It was an early morning for us today, but with a GREAT payoff. 
All the hustle and bustle of the last few weeks and it was finally time!

She was in and out of surgery in no time at all. Dr. C was great too!

Now she is at home relaxing with her best buddy, Bogart. He seems very concerned about her but she is doing great and relaxing on the couch. she is still very sleepy from her medication. 

Now it's just a matter of time. We'll wait and watch closely and hopefully in 2 months we'll have little puppies entering the world!

I don't usually post this late at night but were really excited because I just got home from picking up our very special package from Air Canada shipped all the way from Quebec! Can you guess what's in that box? I'm sure you already know. 
Tomorrow is the big day! We'll keep you posted! 

I'm getting lots of questions about an update on Audrey, so here it is!

Glick's Poodles in Quebec will be flying some fresh-chilled goods to Halifax on Friday (tomorrow) evening. Audrey is scheduled for surgery on Saturday morning for the surgical A.I. 

​Then we wait and let nature take its course from there.

This morning we took the 3 dogs for a walk on the island (one of the family cottages in Jeddore, NS). The dogs love playing there and Bogart especially loves to swim, even in these freezing temperatures!

Audrey will be having her surgery soon and I want to make sure she gets out a lot because she's going to have to take it slow for a bit. She is a very athletic dog and it's going to be tough to keep her on a short leash.

What I loved about our adventure today was I found a beautiful piece of sea glass. I LOVE sea glass!!!

A deposit is required to hold a puppy for your family and the sales contract will be signed upon pick-up of your puppy at 10 weeks of age. 

Audrey has been full of attitude the last 2 weeks... I wonder why? She should be happy because her elbows came back as NORMAL and her hips came back as EXCELLENT from the OFA last week. 

But today is a special day for Audrey, because she is finally in heat!! Woo hoo! She goes for her blood work next week and then in a few short days later she should be with child-ren!
