My friend Nicole Fader made these cute ornaments of Audrey and Bogart out of clay! She sells cool stuff like this on NAF crafts on Etsy!

After many failed attempts and then giving up trying to breed these two in the summer it looks like they must have somehow made it work. Cocoa has had about 3 false pregnancies this past Summer/Fall. I cleaned the cage on Wednesday and there were no babies or nest to be found. On Wednesday I naturally gave her lots of hay since the weather is getting cooler. I had no idea what was to come.
Friday I went to check on the bunnies and give them some apple treats and noticed Cocoa seem to be acting very calm. Usually she's a snot. I suspected there would be babies so I lifted up her blankets but nothing to be found. So then I started digging in the big pile of hay - still nothing. Not surprised, I placed everything back to how it was and was about to walk away and then I heard a little "PEEP". My heart started racing and I dug to the bottom of the hay pile and they're they were all snuggled together, 5 little baby bunnies. I was so excited I ran inside to tell Dave and message a poor girl who has been waiting for my bunnies forever who thought she would have to wait until Spring. I can't wait to watch these little cuties grow!!! Wednesday October 8th at 6pm we picked up our little boy Standard Poodle Bogart from the airport. I took a few videos which I'll have to post later. Him and Audrey have been getting along fantastically and are BFF'S! He is so smart and learns quickly. He has been such a great addition to our family! He's going to be a BIG BOY (and great future stud)!
