May 21st we welcomed our first litter of bunnies this year! 2 little babies by Shag and Bling. It was an unplanned litter but we love them all the same :) See our page "Shag & Bling's 1st Litter" for daily updates!
"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." To me it means.... "When life doesn't give you puppies, take in a stray kitten." On a more serious note. 2 days after finding out news that my dream of breeding will be put off for another few months, we had a patient walk into our clinic with 3 kittens that needed homes. (#itsasign)They were found the night before and we're roughly 4 weeks old. Given my vulnerable state of heart I took one home. So here she is. My black cat on Friday the 13th because I don't have enough bad luck! The end.  Happy 15th birthday to this sassy old gal. I never thought you'd see this day but here you are just as crazy as the day when we brought you home. Love you forever Zoey. Praying for a few more healthy years with you!  This evening we received heartbreaking news that Audrey is not expecting any puppies. We are devastated. Feeling a little defeated. It has been a long road. We will try again her next heat.
It's Mothers day and Audrey's 3rd Birthday today! It's hard to stop a dog from partying! Stay tuned for Tuesday evening... Audrey is having her 45 day x-ray to see if she's expecting because we cant tell :( Fingers & Toes are crossed  This morning we were SO EXCITED to see that our Silkie chicken had successfully hatched 4 of her eggs! Still 3-4 eggs to go. We'll see if they hatch in the next few days... This is our first time hatching eggs so were so happy it worked :) Yay! |
