Finally these two little boys found a forever home! They left last night, what a relief to know they will have a great home. Myself, Dave and Audrey will definitely miss these little trouble makers! Love you so much sweet darlings.

A friend of mine has an upcoming wedding! Miranda & Chris are getting married the last weekend of August! Here's some pictures of her shower the other day. Chris surprised her with beautiful pearls! Can you see the tears of joy?
For a few months we have been looking into getting another dog. Of course for the addition to our family and to help with breeding in coming years. It's finally OFFICIAL. Our puppy is here in the world just waiting for us to love him! We can't wait to bring him home! Just 8 short weeks of waiting. We still don't have a picture of him but you know I'll post one when I do.
He was born August 13 2014, so he is 2 days old! I wish the breeder had sent me a photo. I'm dying for one. We still don't know which boy we are getting from the liitter. It was a littler of 9 - 2 brown boys, 3 black boys, 2 brown girls, and 2 black girls. We will either get a black or brown boy, which ever turns out to be quality for showing a breeding. I CANT WAIT. I'm crossing my fingers that they will be able to fly him in Thanksgiving weekend so we have lots of time to adjust him. We'll keep you in the loop and be putting info updates on his puppy page. Audrey didn't mind posing in front of our giant heaping pile of 12 yards of black mulch. Took us all morning to move but our flower beds are looking FAB!
I heard Walmart was selling these for $10! I'm so sad I missed out on this, though I heard they break pretty easily. Audrey doesn't like swimming anyway but I'm hoping that the new puppy might like it. We'd like to get a kiddy pool for them next summer.
These 2 little boys were returned to us today - only 12 weeks old. Their Mom couldn't take care of them so back home they went. We are trying to find them homes ASAP since they can't live with our other bunnies. Bugs is too much of a humper, Fuzz is a fighter, and Cocoa is pregnant (and we can't risk her getting knocked up by one of her sons, yuck). We have a special area for them but it is not a homey-home that is well suited for them permanently. I'm hoping to see them go soon! If it's too tough we are going to look at some Pet stores that may be able to refer us or buy them from us. I hope it doesn't come to that!
Dave has to come to terms with the fact that ONE DAY I will in fact have this mail box. I looked for one online and they are deadly expensive. So when I decide to sell my pinky toe I will purchase this gem.
Today is my last day of 17 days off. It's been so nice to have all this time off but unfortunately I wasn't able to do a whole lot because my husband still had to work and of course all my friends were working as well. It was great to have some time to myself to relax and read and get some things done around the house. I even managed to apply for my official kennel name.
I was surprised with myself, I didn't get as much cooking and cleaning done as I thought. Come to hear it I didn't really want to work hard on my vacation - so I didn't. There will always be dust. This lovely picture is one I took when we went to Moose River Gold Mines on Long Lake for our anniversary. I wanted to post it because I know when I go back to work tomorrow and get all stressed again I'm going to want something to take me back to a place of relaxation. Even though in this moment I wasn't 100% relaxed, I was more looking for something to do because I was in the middle of nowhere with no cell phone reception. It's still a nice reminder that at that very place nothing has changed and even though in a moment of relaxation I am still wanting to be busy. I can't even say I know what it's like to be relaxed. When is it too much relaxation? Is it ever enough? These are questions I have been asking myself all vacation, 2 weeks of twiddling my thumbs. I can't really say I was relaxed, more bored, trying to stay busy. I felt unproductive. Relaxed is when I come home from a long day at work and have a hot bath and a glass of wine (and maybe some bacon). That's when I felt relaxed. Anyway's, maybe I just need some kids to keep me busy and will look back at this post and kick myself. I also shouldn't be complaining because I just had 17 days off and some people (my husband) don't get vacation. So THANK YOU to my wonderful boss for this vacation but I have to say I'm ready to get back to work!!! Sooo... a little keyboard Poodle fun for ya. Pretty creative if you ask me. (ps. I can't take credit for this one)
