Admittedly I have been REALLY slack on posting updates on here! We have been really busy so I guess I can fill you in on all of it!
BUNNIES
Cocoa had 4 babies a few weeks ago, unfortunately we did lose one, were not sure why. Usually our bunnies are outside in a hutch but because of this harsh winter were having they are being kept inside. Our indoor cage should only hold 3 or 4 rabbits at the most and right now were jammed with 7. Cocoa and Precious don't seem to be getting along very well anymore so were also in a pickle. Were hoping we can get them outside soon once the snow melts!
POODLES
Right now we are dog sitting my mom's 14 year-old Miniature Poodle while she's away on vacation. Were also dogsitting Geoff Leboutillier's 2 Standard Poodles Georgia and Bijou while him and his wife are in Spain. Both dogs are in season so you can only imagine our Bogart is going out of his mind! Between Dave and I we brought Georgia to the vet to have a Surgical Semen Implant and they even let me watch! The semen came from Glicks Standard Poodles in Quebec and got sent down here in 24 hrs for the procedure. This whole thing required a lot of blood work and trips to the vet but the final surgery wasn't so bad! Georgia is doing great and we have our fingers and toes crossed that the procedure worked and she will be having puppies in 8 weeks - because if she does we'll be getting doggy #3!
WORK
As you know I work full time as a dental assistant. I recently signed up to be a Scentsy consultant, which has been so much fun! So I have been trying to run these 2 jobs at once and also do my painting business and poodles! So I guess that means I have 4 jobs. I'm sure one of these days I'll narrow it down to 2 but for now it keeps me busy. But that means I have less time to post on here!
HOBBY FARM
We are building our hobby farm structure this spring, if the snow ever melts! And from there we will be getting laying hens, silky chickens, guinea hens, and goats. Keep checking for updates on that!!
WEDDINGS
We are also beginning to prepare for 2 weddings we are in this summer!
Anyways, I'll do my best to keep everyone in the loop :)
